Renvastill™ RV-400A plant
The RV-400A is a complete water treatment plant consisting of twenty RV-20L units. The annual production capacity of the plant is estimated at 8 to 12 ML water. The site area of the plant will be 0.2 ha (0.5 acre). The plant will produce water that is ready for use as drinking water. The daily output volume will be largely independent of the weather circumstances. The plant is itself generating all the energy that is required for its operation. The energy is fully obtained from on-site renewable resources. The plant does not require any external energy input.
Daily operation of the plant can be done entirely via radio contact, by means of computer software. Weekly maintenance is limited to rincing and disposal of the produced salt. There are no parts that need to be replaced on a regular basis. Once a month the produced salt will be transported from the site to customers.
If desirable, the daily operation of the plant can also be done manually.
With this water treatment plant we expect to be able to offer a reliable, environmentally sustainable and cost-efficient system for production of clean, high-quality drinking water.
Prior to installing our systems and plants, our regional business partners can carry out an environmental analysis, identifying suitable water sources and assessing the impact that operation of the systems will have on the local ecosystem at long term. With our systems we aim to contribute to salinity remediation, drought prevention and control of soil erosion. See also under environment.
